A Communio Group is a small circle of 5–10 young Catholics who gather weekly to pray, grow in faith, and form deep bonds of friendship rooted in Christ. It reflects the early Church’s vibrant spirit of communion, inspired by the joyful fraternity and apostolic zeal of Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati.

We accomplish our dynamic ministry through several, weekly-meeting cell groups: focused communities of up to 10 members. Our society grows as each cell group invites and welcomes new members, then divides once the group begins to overflow—similar to our human cells. In this way, the interconnected cells can live the New Evangelization as Pope Benedict XVI defined it: “New evangelization must surrender to the mystery of the grain of mustard seed and not be so pretentious as to believe to immediately produce a large tree.”
Frassati members commit to imitating the life of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. Taking to heart his words, “The higher we go, the better we shall hear the voice of Christ,” our ministry encourages prayer, study, and lively engagement with others and with the Church. Through this, we find and become the light of Christ.
If you are college-age, or in your 18s or 40s, we welcome you to join and to attend Frassati Society events.
