Pier Giorgio’s life reflected holiness even in mundane activities. He is most well known for his mountain climbing and hiking as he also engaged in other athletics. This is reflected in his motto “Verso l’Alto” which is “to the heights” in English. His adventurous spirit brought him closer to God and neighbors. 

Aside from physical activities, Pier Giorgio had a passion for study apart from his engineering program at the university. He also took piano and dance lessons. He recited poetry particularly from Dante Alighieri, the author of the Divine Comedy. Pier Giorgio enjoyed the arts through opera, theater, and museums. He had an energetic life, and in all his engagements he lived out his faith and sought the glory of God.
