Frassati Society Philippines

About Us

The Frassati Society – Philippines is a community-based Catholic organization inspired by the life and witness of Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati (1901–1925), a modern patron for young people, students, and lovers of the poor.

Born into a life of privilege yet choosing the way of the Beatitudes, Saint Pier Giorgio showed that holiness is possible for the youth in everyday life. His motto “Verso l’Alto” (“To the Heights”) remains our guiding light—calling us to strive for sanctity in prayer, fellowship, service, and joyful witness.

The Society is officially registered as a Non-Profit Organization with the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Philippines (SEC Registration No. 2025090219764-09).

The Frassati Society – Philippines (FSP), is also dedicated to responding to the universal call to holiness by centering our lives on Jesus in the Eucharist, through Marian devotions, and mission works for the poor and those in need, inspired by the virtues of Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati.

In 2021, a group of five young people began gathering to pray the Holy Rosary at the small grotto of the National Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Loreto, seeking guidance and grace to discern the role of the youth in the post-pandemic era.

With the permission of the former parish priest, our group engaged with Basic Ecclesial Communities, visiting the sick and the youth, providing catechesis in households during a time when access to churches was limited. Immersed in these outreach activities, we witnessed the urgent needs of the marginalized and vulnerable. On July 4, 2021, we formally founded a group under the patronage of Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati to serve these overlooked members of society. Thus, the Frassati Society – Philippines (FSP) was born.
