Two Saints, One Mission
Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati and Saint Carlo Acutis lived in very different circumstances.
Pier Giorgio lived in the early twentieth century. He was passionate about the mountains, sports, friendship, politics, Catholic organizations, and above all, his faith. His love for the poor was not merely an idea. He personally sought them out and served them.
Carlo lived decades later, in a world transformed by computers and the internet. He understood technology as an instrument that could be placed at the service of the Gospel. His love for the Eucharist became the center of his spiritual life.
Yet both discovered the same secret:
Jesus must be at the center.
Pope Leo XIV highlighted this common foundation during the canonization: both young men were “in love with Jesus and ready to give everything for him.”
Their lives tell us that holiness does not require us to become someone else.
God wants us to become the person He created us to be.
A Celebration of Faith, Friendship, and Mission
To commemorate the First Anniversary of the Canonization of Saints Pier Giorgio Frassati and Carlo Acutis, the Frassati Society Philippines and the Association of the Friends of Saint Carlo Acutis Philippines are preparing a special celebration from September 4–8, 2026.
The celebration will gather young people, families, devotees, volunteers, educators, parish communities, Catholic organizations, and friends of the two saints to give thanks for the gift of their canonization and to renew our commitment to holiness.

Thanksgiving Celebration
On September 7, we will gather in thanksgiving for the first anniversary of their canonization and celebrate the continuing mission entrusted to us through their example.
